What We Believe…
We believe the Bible (Old and New Testament) is completely and totally inspired by the Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible is exactly the way God planned it to be. We believe that God is perfectly capable of controlling His Own revelation and truth to humankind.
We believe God is all knowing, all powerful and always present with us; He alone knows and sees all things.
We believe God is the Creator of all things and that He is Purposeful in all He does.
We believe God created all people in His image so that He could love us and have a relationship with us.
We believe that all people have sinned against God and need a Savior to restore them to God.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son and our Savior, that He was born of the virgin Mary, lived among humankind, and died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins to restore us to our Creator.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Savior and that He is the only way back to God.
We believe that Jesus Christ sent the Holy Spirit to empower us to live for God daily.
We believe that God is good and forgiving, loves us unconditionally, and that it is a joy to know Him.
We believe the Holy Spirit in us causes us to be like Christ; loving and forgiving, patient and kind.
We believe that the joy of the Lord is our strength and that living for God is the only way to be truly happy and filled with peace.
We believe that there is no real love, life, purpose or meaning apart from God.
We believe that our gatherings, what people call “church”, should be more like an orderly party than a funeral service (see Psalms 150).
We believe that every Christian’s life is to be an example of God’s love and forgiveness.
We believe that one day Christ will return and take us to be with Him forever.
We believe spending eternity with God will be the most awesome experience we will ever have, because we will be with our Lord who will love us forever!
A View of Lake Harding from the Dock on the West Side of the Long Bridge.
As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” At once they left their nets and followed him.
